Lather on some sunscreen. Dust off the lawn chair and
head over to Coloma Road. It's time for the Rancho Cordova Fourth of
July Parade, sponsored by the Rancho Cordova Kiwanis Club.
Rancho Cordova 's
Hometown Parade is famous for its hometown flavor. So don't be surprised
if you see your next door neighbor decked out in a wacky Uncle Sam
get-up for the trip down Coloma.
The parade is also
famous for being a sizzler. Whether you're in the parade or just
planning to watch, bring along some water. Thank a Kiwanian!
The Rancho Cordova Kiwanis Club heads up the parade, but it
takes more than just one Kiwanian to make this extravagant Rancho
Cordova tradition roll. You will be able to thank the small army of
Kiwanians, all wearing their blue shirts, who will be scurrying up and
down the parade route, for all the hard work it takes to launch this
rolling party.
So, forward, march! It's the Rancho Cordova 4th of July
Parade, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 3. Parade
